Glen A. Prather, Jr., of Hixson, passed away Monday, April 30, 2007 due to injuries sustained from a motorcycle accident. He was of the Seventh-Day Adventist Faith. He was very proud of the U.S. Navy and served during Desert Storm. He loved children, Labradors Retrievers, and motorcycles. He was preceded in death by his father; Glenn Prather, Sr.
He is survived by his son; Jeffrey Glen Prather, daughters; Jennifer Sue Prather, Jessica Kaye Prather, wife; Sandy Buckner, mother; Margaret Chatterton, brothers; Jim, Billy, and Bobby Smith, sister; Dottie Rabbeth.
Graveside service will be 4:00 P.M. Monday, May 5, 2007 at East Soddy Community Cemetery with Pastors Jerry Arnold and Brian McDonald officiating. Family will receive friends from 1:00 Saturday until time of service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers please make donations to the Jeffrey Prather Fund, 6350 Wilder Rd.; Hixson, TN. 37343. Condolences and memories may be shared at www.williamsonandsons.com. Arrangements are by Williamson & Sons Funeral Home in Soddy-Daisy.
