Obit:
James Robert “Elvis” Clayton, 57, of Chattanooga, passed away on Monday, May 4, 2015. He helped out at D & D Auto Salvage for many years. James loved dirt track racing and going to the drag strip.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond Doyle Clayton, Sr. and Mildred Penny Clayton and siblings, Raymond Doyle Clayton, Jr., Johnny Ray Clayton and Marina Clayton Walker.
Survivors include his daughters, P.J. Clayton and Natasha Skinner (Justin); sister, Brenda Redden; grandchildren, Kayleigh Skinner, Kayden Skinner, Allen Clayton and Danny Engle and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held on Thursday, May 7, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at East Soddy Community Cemetery with Rev. Dennis Goins officiating. Visitation is Wednesday from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
