Obit:
Edwin Ely Baggett, 60, of Soddy-Daisy, passed away on Thursday, August 5, 2021. He was a Christian. Edwin was a carpenter for over 35 years. He enjoyed searching for arrowheads and hiking. Edwin was preceded in death by his parents, Marion and Dot Baggett; sister, Wilma Wint; wife, Connie Baggett.
Survivors are his children, Scott Dillard (Amanda), Drew Baggett and Caitlyn Baggett; grandchildren, Blayden Dillard, Gunner Dillard and Deacon Dillard; siblings, Thelma Wright, Geraldine Mincey, Marlene Hougendobler, Ailene Varner (Norman), Clayton Baggett; several nieces, nephews and extended family.
Services will be on Wednesday, August 11, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow at East Soddy Community Cemetery. Visitation is Tuesday from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers please make contributions to the funeral expenses at the funeral home.
