James E. Deifenderfer, 72, of Soddy-Daisy, passed away Sunday, July 3, 2005, at his home.
He was a member of Mowbray Church of God and was a U.S. Navy veteran of the Korean War.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Melvin and Elizabeth Deifenderfer, and sister, Katherine Wojchehoski.
He is survived by his wife, Ruth Deifenderfer; sons, Jimmy and To mmy Deifenderfer; daughters, Susan Burch, Cindy Deifenderfer; and six grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Rick Smith and Rev. Scott Morrow officiating.
Interment will follow in Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
Family will receive friends from 2 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Arrangements are by Williamson & Sons Funeral Home in Soddy-Daisy.
