Alpha Eunice Durrance, 80, of Chiefland, Florida passed away May 17, 2021.
Mrs. Durrance was born June 14, 1940 to the late Clifford and Mary Horne in Daisy, TN, but had lived in the Chiefland area for over 21 years after moving here from Chattanooga, TN. She was a member of Concord Baptist Church.
Mrs. Durrance is survived by her husband of 21 years David Durrance, her daughter Glenda Rhea (Red), her sons Brian O’Neal (Sharon) and Robert O’Neal, her brothers Marvin Horne and Arville Horne, her daughter-in-law Barbara O’Neal, five grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and other extended family members. She was preceded in death by her son Terry O’Neal, her daughter Belinda Kaye O’Neal, her sister Earlene Lively, and her brothers Buddy Horne, Ed Horne, and Hurdest Horne.
Funeral services for Mrs. Durrance will be held 11:00 AM Friday, May 21, 2021 at the Rick Gooding Funeral Home Chiefland Chapel, with Rev. Jamie Brock officiating. Interment will follow in the Chiefland Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.
