Isac B. Hamby, 76, of Soddy-Daisy, died Tuesday, June 1, 2004, at a local hospital.
He was of the Baptist faith and was an Army veteran of World War II.
A member of the Disabled American Veterans, he was retired from Signal Knitting Mill and the Hamilton County School System. He was also a coach for the Dallas Bay Civic League softball.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Rose Elizabeth Hamby.
He is survived by his close relatives; Louella Landreth, Melissa Butler, Jessica and Christina Landreth; brother, the Rev. Albert Hamby; sister, Mildred Bowman; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Saturday in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Tyler Shannon and the Rev. Everette Summers officiating.
Interment will follow in New Salem Cemetery.
Family will receive friends from 2-9 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
