Obituary:

Lewis “Louis” Mahan, 82, of Soddy Daisy, TN passed away April 6, 2022. He was of the Baptist Faith. Lewis was a fifty three year member of the Harrison Masonic Lodge 114 F&AM. He played professional baseball for the Carolina Mud Cats and was an avid outdoorsman, loving to hunt and fish. He had previously owned and operated Mahan Furniture.

His parents, Claude Elmer and Gertrude Mahan; brother, Bill Mahan and seven sisters, Jessie Johnson, Katherine Millard, Frances Griffin, Eddie Knox, Ruby Pendergrass, Maggie Mahan and Lydia Mahan have already preceded him in death.

He is survived by his wife, Eva Mahan; children, Randy (Jessica) Mahan, Rita (Jeff) Kuntz, Dawn (Tommy) Walker, Diana (Randy Wilson) Yell, Mister (Sherry) Bowman; grandchildren, Josh King, Hailey Mahan, Abby Walker, Emily Ooten, Elijah Bowman, Asher Bowman, Erica Harley and Adam Gravitt; great-grandchildren, Gage King, Caroline Harley, Madelyn Harley and Austin Harley as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Visitation is 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Sunday, April 10, 2022 with services following at 2:00 p.m. at Williamson & Sons Funeral Home with Pastor Melvin Walker officiating. Burial will follow in Millsaps Cemetery.
