Charles Ray McFarland, 65, of Dunlap, passed away on Friday, January 24, 2020. He was of the Baptist faith. Charles loved custom designing art with steel. He did a lot of art shows and sculptures for several parks in the area including Normal Park Magnet School and the Whitwell Holocaust Memorial.
He was preceded in death by his father, Charles McFarland and grandparents, Marvin and Eva Johnson and Charlie and Geneva McFarland.

Survivors are his wife of 43 years, Pauletta McFarland; sons, Jeff McFarland (Trish) and Charlie McFarland; mother, Bobbie McFarland; siblings, Jimmy Johnson (Audrey), Barbara DeWeese (Larry), Sandy Brown (Tracy), Ronnie McFarland (Kim), Donnie McFarland (Robin), Sharen Mayo, Peggy Nelson; 7 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be on Monday, January 27, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. at Millsaps Cemetery with Rev. O'dell Broadway officiating.
