George W. "Butch" Hixson Jr., 51, of Chattanooga, died Friday March 26, 2004.
A lifelong resident of Chattanooga, he was a member of Brainerd Baptist Church and was the son of the late, George W. Hixson Sr.
Survivors include his wife, Patricia Hixson; daughter, Rachel Hixson; granddaughter, Kayla White; future son-in-law, Scott White; mother, Betty Hixson; two brothers, Larry Hixson and Jeff Hixson, all of Chattanooga; nieces and nephews, Blake Hixson, Myles Hixson and Wittney Hixson, all of Chattanooga, and Amber Railey, South Carolina; and aunts and uncles.
Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday in the Valley View Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home.
Interment will be in Foster-Hixson Cemetery.
Active Pallbearers will be Tony Witt, David Witt, Curtis Witt, Blake Hixson and Myles Hixson. Honorary pallbearers will be Walter Witt, Barney Witt and Tim Witt.
The family will receive friends from 4-8 p.m. today and Tuesday at the Valley View Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home.
