William "Bill" J. Rogers, 78, of Hixson, died Sunday, Jan. 18, 2004.

Bill was a lifelong resident of the Hixson area, and a veteran of World War II serving in the Navy. He was retired from ACT Adding Machines. Bill was a member of Hixson Masonic Lodge, Alhambra Shrine, and the Scottish Rite.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Marie Rogers; and a sister, Betty Mae Rogers.

Bill is survived by his brother, George Rogers.

Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday at the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home.

The family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home.

Burial will be in Sneitmans Cemetery.
