Add Smith Cemetery
William Addison (Add) Smith purchased this cemetery from T. L. Dosson on February 1, 1890 for the purpose of having a family cemetery.
He lived across the creek here, and had a Grist Mill by the bridge. He also grew strawberries. He was Sheriff of Dayton for two terms in the 1800's.
In 1941 he sold this graveyard to his son, T. A. Smith and his heirs.
In 1977 the last of T. A.'s children passed away, and it passed down to the third generation of T. A. Smith's, and will continue to follow the line of heirs.
