Emily Catherine Green, 30, went home to be with the Lord December 6, 2018. She was born February 26, 1988. A vibrant beautiful personality, Emily was a poet, a writer, and someone full of life. A graduate of Briarcrest High School, she was a cheerleader and a friend of many. She worked at Environmental Test and Balance Co., a significant family business that serves major medical and corporate institutes in Memphis. She was preceded in death by her loving father, Walter Green and survived by her mother Cindy Green, sister Lisa Green Taylor (Tom), and brothers Sean Green (Carol), Joshua Green (Jayme) and Nicholas Green, all of the Memphis area ; a grandmother, Judy Heuer of Houston, TX ; her aunt Carrie Ganter of Green Bay, WI, and her aunt Kim Owens of League City, TX ; and many loving nieces and nephews, Lindsey Burcham (Nick), Evan Thompson, Craig Thompson (Kelly), Elisabeth Green, Olivia Green and Bennett Green, all of the Memphis area.
Visitation will be at Cordova Presbyterian Church, Friday December 14 at 12 p.m., followed by a memorial service at 1 p.m. Interment at Cordova Presbyterian Church. In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions to Leukemia And Lymphoma Society or the Moriah House at Memphis Union Mission.
