James Maurice "Jimmy" Wiley Jr., Memphis, TN, died Friday, February 9, 2018, at Methodist Hospital Germantown. Born December 20, 1947 in Memphis, to James Maurice and Marie (Marchbanks) Wiley, he was the oldest of three children.After graduating from Bartlett High School in 1965, Jimmy married the former Elisabeth Hardy. He then obtained a B.A. in Political Science from Memphis State University in 1975. In 1978, Jimmy joined the family owned jewelry business, Wiley's Jewelry, and continued that legacy until his retirement. In 1989, Jimmy married his wife of 28 years, Karen (Revell) Wiley. Jimmy was a 32nd Degree Mason, a Shriner and a Past President of the Tennessee Retail Jeweler's Association. He was an avid reader, sports enthusiast and conversationalist, who will be remembered for his quick wit, his sense of humor, his love for his sons and his grandchildren and his entire family. He is survived by his wife, Karen, sons, James Maurice (Jamie) Wiley III (Patti) of Arlington, TN and Christopher Hardy Wiley (Ashley) of Memphis, TN, Four granddaugthers: Tabitha Houk (David), Camille, Keegan and Theran Wiley, and one grandson, James Maurice Wiley IV (Stephanie) and three great-grandchildren: Ayla Houk, Avery Wiley, and Beckett Houk. Two sisters, Lynn Wiley Granger of Memphis and Maurica Wiley Pett of Heber Springs, AR. and five nephews.

Services will be at February 13, 5785 Stage Road Bartlett, TN 38134 at Bartlett Event Center, Heritage Funeral home has charge of services. Visitation will from 5-7 p.m., with funeral to follow.
