Chattanooga Times September 8, 1987
ABEL – FELIX J., 66, of Hot Springs, S. D., died Saturday at the Veterans Administration Hospital there. Formerly of Dayton, Tenn., he was a son of the late Claud and Effie Jones Abel.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Abel Cemetery in Dayton with the Rev. Bob Hayes officiating. In case of bad weather, a memorial service will be held in the funeral home chapel.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association or to a favorite charity.
The family will receive friends 7-9 p.m. today
