Phillip Roane, 63, of Ripley, formerly of Covington, passed away on Sunday, Janaury 8. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, January 11 at the Covington Funeral Home chapel with interment to follow in Magnolia Gardens Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. on Tuesday, January 10 at the funeral home. Mr. Roane was a former truck driver. He is survived by his wife, Barbara Conlee Roane; one daughter, Valerie Turnbow of Halls; one step-daughter, Colleenia Fernandez of Stockton, CA; two step-sons, Marcus Hernandez and Manuel Hernandez, both of Stockton, CA; one brother, George Cleveland Rone of Drew, MS; 13 grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
