September 9, 1935 - March 15, 2009
Hilton R. Taylor, 73, of Rosemark, retired mechanic from the City of Memphis, passed away on Sunday, March 15 at his home. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, March 18 at the Covington Funeral Home Chapel with interment to follow in Magnolia Gardens Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Tuesday, March 17. He was an Army Veteran of the Korean War and a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife, Martha Sue Taylor, three sons, Hilton Allen Taylor of Omaha, NE, Rodger Lee Taylor of Southaven, MS and Robert Wayne Taylor of Rosemark; three brothers, Mayberry Taylor of Covington, John Taylor of South Bend, IN, and Prentis Taylor of Cordova; six grandchildren and one great grandchild.
