Betty Jane Kendall, 66, retired from H&R Block, passed away on Sunday, August 9 at Baptist Hospital Tipton. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, August 12 at the Covington Funeral Home Chapel with interment to follow in Magnolia Gardens Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, August 11 from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the funeral home. She is survived by two daughters, Connie Atkins and Beverly Kendall, both of Covington; one son, Michael Kendall of Covington; two sisters, Linda Carr of Memphis and Sandy Roberts of Knoxville and one grandchild.
