Donald Reid Sherrill, 59, retired Inventory Control Clerk with Mueller Copper Fittings, died Monday at his home. Services will be on Thursday at 2 p.m. at the Covington Funeral Home Chapel with interment to follow in the Magnolia Gardens Cemtery. He was a member of the First Assembly of God Church, a Vietnam War Army Veteran and a member of the American Legion. Mr. Sherrill, the husband of Ellen Elzie Sherrill, also leaves two daughters, Christie Osbourn of Atoka and Jennifer Jones of Covington; one sister, Annette Johnson of Henderson, Ky; three brothers, Kenneth Sherrill of Brighton, Ray Sherrill of Big Sandy, TN, and William Sherrill of Bolivar, TN; and three grandchildren. The family requests that any memorial be made to the Wings of West Clinic.
