Richard Chumley, 77, of Covington, retired production worker with General Motors after 30 years, passed away Tuesday, January 1 at Methodist Healthcare North in Memphis. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, January 4 at the Covington Funeral Home Chapel with interment to follow in Magnolia Gardens Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Thursday, January 3 from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the funeral home. He is survived by his wife, Emmlene Chumley; six daughters, Mary Parham, Sharon Kuehnel, and Rhonda Hughey, all of Covington, Shelia Wildgrube of Tinley Park, IL, Peggy Tarascio of New Lenox, IL and Lisa Lees of Myrtle Beach, SC; one sister, Shirley Hardister of Covington; 15 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
