This amazing cemetery is on the southern slope of the ridge running north of and parallel to Stephens Creek Road. It contains 100 + burials, all marked with field stones of highest quality and almost all still erect and visible. Some markers have become embedded by trees estimated to be over 100 years old. The burials are laid out in 5 or more rows, equally spaced apart, and following the contour of the hillside. Locals do not know who is buried here or much about the cemetery other than its location. The organization of the cemetery indicates active and competent oversight. It is almost military in appearance and organization.
