Faye M. Edmonds, 71, homemaker, passed away Thursday, October 26. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, October 28 at the Covington Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will take place in the Magnolia Gardens Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Friday, October 27 from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the funeral home. She was a member of the Covington Church of Christ. Mrs. Edmonds, the wife of James Q. Edmonds, also leaves two daughters, Laura Craft and Andrea Edmonds-Cook, both of Covington; three sons, James Q. Edmonds, II for Henderson, TN, Brad Edmonds of Nashville and Grant Edmonds of Covington; her mother, Ruthel M. Johnson of Covington and eight grandchildren. The family request that in lieu of flowers that donations be made to the Faye Edmonds Scholarship Fund at Freed-Hardeman University in Henderson, TN.
