January 24, 1928 - November 13, 2005
Phillip B. Holland, 77, retired machine operator with the State Highway Department, died Sunday at Baptist Hospital Tipton in Covington. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, November 15 at 2:30 p.m. in the Covington Funeral Home Chapel with interment to follow in Magnolia Gardens Cemetery. Mr. Holland was a member of Our Father's House Assembly of God Church. He leaves four daughters, Barbara Holland of Memphis, Phyllis Cox of Brighton, Dorothy Fleming of Henning and Brenda Smith of Covington; one brother, Dean Holland of Tupelo, MS; one sister, Mary White of Henning; 11 grandchildren and five great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, Thomas R. "Hutch" Holland.
