January 18, 1939 - October 11, 2014
Avon B. Gardner, 75, passed away on the evening of October 11, 2014. Mr. Gardner was a retired Warehouse man for Kirsh, veteran of the United States Army, and member of the Brighton Assembly of God Church. Mr. Gardner is survived by his wife, Sue Pruitt Gardner of Covington; son, Tony Gardner of Jackson; daughter, Lisa Hughey of Memphis; grandchildren, Joshua and Jacob Gardner and Marlana Hughey; and great-grandchildren, Abaigail Perry, Lydia Perry, Naomi Perry, Brylee Newell, and Harlee Newell.
The services for Mr. Gardner will be held on Tuesday, October 14, at 2PM at the Maley-Yarbrough Chapel with interment to follow in the Magnolia Gardens Cemetery. Visitation for Mr. Gardner will be held the night before from 4-7 at the Chapel.
