Jacob Dalton Wylie, 9, 2nd grade student at Crestview Elementary School, died Monday at Baptist Memorial Hospital Tipton in Covington. Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Covington Funeral Home Chapel with interment to follow in the Magnolia Gardens Cemetery. Covington Funeral Home has charge. He leaves his parents, Mark Edward and Carla Watson Wylie of Covington, and his grandparents John and Dorothy Watson and Reverend Ronnie and Bobby Wylie, all of Covington. Jacob was a very special child and touched the hearts of many people and students at Crestview Elementary School. The family requests that any memorial be made to the HallerVorden-Spatz Syndrome Association.
