Howard Vanderford, 47, of Brighton, welder/pipefitter, passed away Wednesday, September 17 at his home. Funeral services will be held at 12 noon on Saturday, September 20 at the Covington Funeral Home with interment to follow in Magnolia Gardens Cemetery. The family will receive friends two hours prior to the service on Saturday. He was an avid NASCAR fan and loved good friends and playing horseshoes. He is survived by his wife, Brenda Jane Vanderford; one daughter, Stephanie Renee Turner of Brighton; one grand-daughter, Alyssa Marie Turner of Brighton; his mother, Vera Mae Vanderford of Memphis; three sisters, Joann White of Rosemark, Linda Yarbrough of Munford and Mary Catherine Clark of Bartlett and two brothers, Bo Vanderford of Burlison and Bill Vanderford of Memphis. The family requests that any memorials be made to the Howard Vanderford Memorial Fund in care of Brighton Bank.
