March 27, 1943 - June 20, 2010
Bill C. Neafus, 67, a retired firefighter with the Naval Air Station in Millington and currently employed with Loomis Armored Car, passed away on Sunday, June 20. Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. on Wednesday, June 23 at the Covington Funeral Home chapel with interment to follow in Magnolia Gardens Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. on Tuesday, June 22 at the funeral home. He was an Army veteran and a member of the Church of God. He is survived by his wife, Shirley A. Neafus; two daughters, Tanya Wheeler of Memphis and Judy Pilkington of Millington; one son, Billy Neafus, Jr. of Brighton; three sisters, Peggy Hathcock of Brighton, Melba Dodson of Munford and Betty Sue Impson of Austin, TX; one brother, Gary Neafus of Munford; seven grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
