Alvie Sanders, 72, of Covington, passed away on Tuesday, September 11 at his home. Funeral services will be held at 4 p.m. on Friday, September 14 at the Covington Funeral Home chapel with interment to follow in Magnolia Gardens Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. on Thursday, September 13 at the funeral home. He is survived by two sons, Timothy Barnes and Eric Sanders, both of Covington; one daughter, Elaine Hanks of Brighton; one brother, Joe Sanders of Friendship, TN; one sister, Imogene Benard of Jackson, TN and five grandchildren.
