Philip "Flip" Mittag, 59, of Brighton, passed away on Sunday, April 23. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, April 27 at the Covington Funeral Home chapel with interment to follow in Magnolia Gardens Cemetery. The family will receive friends two hours prior to the service at the funeral home. He was a truck driver for Swift Trucking and a U. S. Army veteran. He is survived by his wife, Twylah Booth Mittag; one son, Davidson Andrew Michael Mittag of Brighton; one daughter, Harley Nicole Milka of Brighton; two brothers, Mickey Mittag of Alabama and Mark Mittag of West Memphis and his parents, Heinz and Carol Mittag of Reelfoot Lake.
