Baird Graveyard (aka Seldon Baird Family) Cemetery
Wilson County,
Tennessee

June 9, 1826 - February 6, 1901

CLEM was the son of Seldon Baird and Sarah (Billingsley) Baird. He married Matilda Johnston on September 3, 1846, in Wilson County, Tennessee.

His obituary, posted on the front page of the Lebanon Democrat newspaper, February 7, 1901, listed his burial in the "Seldon Baird graveyard"; however, NO GRAVESTONE has been found.

Clem and Matilda's daughter, Mary S. "Mollie" (Baird) Morton is also buried in this cemetery.

Obituary courtesy of the Wilson County Archives, located in Lebanon, Wilson County, Tennessee:

"Death of C. J. T. Baird"
"C. J. T. Baird, of the 21st district, died last night, Feb. 6th. at the ripe age of 70 years. He was a member of the M. E. Church and a noble citizen. His remains will be interred in the Seldon Baird graveyard tomorrow at 2 o'clock." Lebanon Democrat, February 7, 1901, Lebanon, Tennessee, Vol. 13 No. 6.
