The old Hancock Cemetery is located at the intersection of Bonny Oaks Drive and Elwood Lane. Per the WPA survey transcription, "The land for the cemetery was given by Mr. H. T. Hancock. There are twenty or thirty very old unmarked graves. A few Indians are buried here. Benjamin Hancock has the oldest marker which is 1854." The land around the cemetery is overgrown and almost impassable. There are no standing headstones, but the fence still stands. The McBride headstone has been moved outside of the fence.
