Jo Evelyn Sproles, age 76, of Piney Flats, TN went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, October 17, 2012 at her residence.

She was born in Sullivan County, TN on January 1, 1936, the daughter of the late Joe and Gertrude Glover Miller.

Jo Evelyn lived in the Piney Flats all of her life and retired from Sperry-Univac Plant. She was an active member of Buffalo Christian Church.

Her survivors include:

Husband: Billy Sproles
Brother: Johnny Miller
Sons: Robert Smith and wife Linda, Harvey Smith
Daughter: Teresa Smith
Grandchildren: Robbie Smith and wife Nancy, Matt Smith and wife Carolyn, Ben Smith and wife Tiffany, Eric Smith, Lindsey Smith
Great Grandchildren: Brian Smith, Dylan Smith, Kinsley Smith, Emily Bowman
Stepsons: Tim Sproles and wife Lisa, Brad Sproles and wife Donna,
Stepdaughter: Robin Roark
Step Grandchildren: Bradley Sproles, Dustin Roark and Nicholas Sproles

Funeral services will be conducted at 8:00 pm on Thursday, October 18, 2012 at the Weaver Funeral Home Chapel with Minister Rick Helland and Minister Kevin Sproles officiating.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. prior to the service.

The Committal service will be at 1:00 pm on Friday, October 19, 2012 in the Tri-Cities Memory Gardens. Grandchildren will serve as Honorary Pallbearers.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Buffalo Christian Church, 436 Buffalo Road, Bluff City, TN 37618
