Evan L. "Chip" Wormsley Jr. of Hixson died Tuesday, Sept. 29, 1998, in a local hospital.
He was 28.
He was a Baptist and was the grandson of the late Claude and Gladys Hughes.
Survivors include his wife, Kyla Wormsley; two daughters, Kayla and Kelsey Wormsley; his parents, Evan L. Wormsley Sr. of Hixson, and Pamela McBryar of Bryant, Ala.; four sisters, Jennifer and Holly Wormsley, both of Hixson, and Stacy and Tina McBryar, both of Bryant; three brothers, Joseph B. Wormsley of Hixson, and Jason and Scott McBryar, both of Bryant; and his grandparents, E.C. "Joe" and Pauline Wormsley of Hixson.
Graveside services will be conducted Friday at 11 a.m. at Johnson Cemetery.
The family was to receive friends today after 1 p.m. at Williamson & Sons Funeral Home.
