Thomas Melvin Dempsey, 51, of Chattanooga went to be with the Lord on Thursday, September 27, 2012. He was of the Baptist faith.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Mary Cleo Dempsey; daughter, Tera Leanne Dempsey.
He is survived by his loving wife of 32 years, Beverly Dempsey; son, Thomas M. Dempsey II, daughter, Jada D. Wilson; father, Charles Dempsey, Sr.; two brothers, Charles Dempsey, Jr., and Larry Dempsey; three sisters, Mary Ann Huckabee, Donna Belcher and Wanda Davenport; five grandchildren, Caleb, Alexis, Bailey, Brady and Conner; several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Saturday from 2-8 p.m. at the Hwy 58 chapel of Turner Funeral Home or you may visit the guest book @ www.turnerfamilyfuneralhome.com
Funeral service will be held on Sunday, September 30, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Don Ferguson officiating. Interment will follow in the Bartlebaugh Cemetery.
