Two hearts as one

George B. Masters, 51, a resident of Birchwood, passed away Sunday, Jan. 4, 2004, at the family residence.
He was employed as a heavy equipment mechanic with Mays Construction.
He was a loving husband and devoted father and enjoyed spending time with his family.
He was preceded in death by his stepfather, Charlie Woody.
He is survived by his wife, Jana L. Masters of Birchwood; mother, Marcella Woody of Birchwood; three children: Maria Letner and husband, Kevin, of Cleveland, Blane Robert Masters and Lura Jean Masters, both of Birchwood; one grandson Brandon Kane Letner; one brother, Charles Woody of Birchwood; two sisters: Carla Laster of Birchwood, and Janet Woody of Johnson City; and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
The funeral was held at 11 a.m. today, Jan. 7, 2004, in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with the Rev. Jim Price officiating. Interment was in Holder Memorial Cemetery with a white dove release ceremony concluding the service.
