*Obituary:
Mildred O. Griffith, 81, of Signal Mountain, passed away Sunday, September 8, 2013. She was of the Baptist Faith.
She was preceded in death by her sons, Bobby Ray, Ted and Randall Thurman; daughter, Debbie Morrison; sisters, Johnnie Martin, Lecile Thurman and a brother Carlos Swafford.
She is survived by her daughter, Linda (Doug) Barnett; son-in-law, Ronnie Morrison; daughter-in-law, Sandra Thurman; sisters, Wilma, Glynnis, Billie and Edna; and a brother, Wendell (Mary Lou) Swafford; eight grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren and several nieces & nephews..
The funeral service will be held at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, September 10, 2013 at Williamson & Sons Funeral Home with Rev. Carl Hunsucker officiating. Interment will follow in Friendship Cemetery. Visitation is 11:00 A.M. to 2:00 P.M. Tuesday.
Tim, Gary, Kris Rodney, Jacob and Scottie will be serving as pallbearers and Matt Aaron, Bobby, Ronnie, Drew and Doug will be serving as honorary pallbearers.
