James D. "Jimmy" Clayton of Dayton, Tenn., formerly of Hixson, died Sunday, May 3, 1998, at his home.
He was 36. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Betty Clayton.
Survivors include his sister, Brenda Shipley, Soddy-Daisy; and three brothers, Paul Clayton, Chattanooga, Tom Clayton, Dunlap, Tenn., and Lester Clayton, Hixson.
Services will be at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday at Williamson and Sons Funeral Home, Soddy-Daisy, with the Rev. Don Kelley officiating.
Burial will be in Friendship Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
