Robert R. Minue, 50, of Chattanooga, Tenn., formerly of Springfield, died April 21 in Chattanooga.
Mr. Minue was the son of Joseph and Verna Hixon Minue Turner. He was an honors graduate of Hixon High School and received a degree in nuclear engineering from the University of Tennessee.
He was employed as a nuclear engineer for the state Department of Nuclear Safety for 16 years, prior to moving to Chattanooga. He attended Mile Straight Baptist Church.
Surviving are two half brothers, James M. Boyce of Nashville, Tenn., and Edwin Turner of Llona, Texas; one half sister, Judy Gordon of Nashville, Tenn.; several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Services were held Thursday at Williamson and Sons Funeral Home, Soddy-Daisy, Tenn., with the Rev. David Lackey officiating. Burial was in Foster Cemetery, Hixon, Tenn.
