Barry S. Bennett, Jr. 38, of Brighton, died October 8, 2016. Barry was a kindhearted man who never met a stranger. He was a hard-working machinist and talented welder. Barry lived life to the fullest and enjoyed raising reptiles (enormous snakes and lizards) and teaching others about them. He was a believer in Jesus and was baptized last year. Barry loved his wife Autumn (married 12 years) and adored his little girls Ann Marie (9) and Abigail (7). Please keep them in your prayers along with Barry's mother, Shelia Bennett, and Barry's sister, Kelly Griffin, as well as the rest of his family. His service will take place at Covington Funeral Home on Thursday, October 13, at 2 p.m. with visitation from noon to 2 p.m. before the service. Interment will be in R. H. Munford Cemetery. Barry's friendly smile and caring, helpful attitude will be greatly missed. His family cherishes all the time they had with Barry while on Earth and takes comfort knowing that he is now home in heaven.
