Jean Gibson, 86, of Covington, passed away on Wednesday, May 16. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, May 19 at the Covington Funeral Home chapel with interment to follow in Magnolia Gardens Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. She was a retired manager with Covington Furniture and was the oldest of 13 children. She is survived by her husband, Clyde Gibson; one daughter, Shirley (Henry) Scarbrough of Covington; four sons, Leslie (Maxine) Gibson of Munford, Willie (Terry) Gibson of Biloxi, MS, David Gibson of Gates and Ken (Mary Ann) Gibson of Whiting, NJ; six grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
