December 10, 1925 - October 28, 2005
Florence E. “Flo” Scott, age 79, went to be with the Lord, Friday, October 28, 2005 at her residence in Bristol, TN. Born in Miami, FL on December 10, 1925. She is preceded in death by her parents, two brothers and a sister.
“Flo” was a former employee of the old Holiday Inn in Bristol, TN off Interstate 81 and the Bonfire Restaurant were she worked as Hostess for 23 years. She committed her life to the Lord in 2005 and was baptized on Easter Sunday at Calvary Baptist Church.
Survivors include:
Son: Steven Goslin and wife Marilyn of Mountain Rest, SC
Step-son: Clint Scott and wife Debbie of Odessa, FL
Daughter: Charlene Barrett and husband Lonnie of Bristol, TN
Special Brothers: Phillip Thomason and wife “Winnie” of Center Moriches, NY
Richard “Butch” Thomason and wife Yvonne of Brooker, FL
Six Grandchildren
Six Great-Grandchildren all who were loved very much.
Funeral Services will be conducted at 12:00 P.M., Monday, October 31, 2005 at Calvary Baptist Church in Bristol, TN with Pastor Tony Trunnell officiating. Entombment will be private. The family will receive friends from 11-12 prior to the service at Calvary Baptist Church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Calvary Baptist Church at 1505 Broad St. Bristol, TN 37620.
