BRISTOL - Odae Merle Wilhoit Conner, 76, of Knob Creek Road in Johnson City died Thursday at her home.
She was born June 5, 1926, in Greeneville, and was a daughter of the late Vernon and Dolly Setser Wilhoit.
Mrs. Conner had lived in the Tri-Cities area most of her life.
She worked for the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) during World War II.
Mrs. Conner was a homemaker and mother. She was the widow of Ralph Wilbur "Bud" Conner.
Mrs. Conner retired as an independent real estate agent in 1995.
She was a member of Mountain View United Methodist Church.
Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law: Terrance L. Conner of Johnson City and Daniel A. and Mary Conner of Columbia, S.C.; a granddaughter: Chelsea Conner; several nieces and nephews, including a special niece: Wendy Blair; a special great-niece: Tesha Blair; and several cousins.
Mrs. Conner was preceded in death by a sister, Marcella Ricker, and a brother, Glen Wilhoit.
The funeral service will be held at 2 o'clock Saturday afternoon in the Mausoleum Chapel in Glenwood Cemetery. The Rev. Tim Ross will officiate
