January 3, 1932 - May 25, 2009
Donald Jack Dingus, age 77, passed away May 25, 2009, at Wellmont Hospice House.
He was born Jan. 3, 1932, in Coeburn, Va., a son of the late Shade F. and Mattie Sturgil Dingus. He lived most of his life in the Bristol area since he was 18 years old. He was retired from Valleydale.
Survivors include his wife, Dorothy M. Dingus; son, Donald Jack Dingus Jr. and fiancée Pam Hensley; brothers, Johnny Dingus and Shade Dingus Jr.; and sisters, Louise Honaker and Mary McConnell.
Funeral services will be held Friday, May 29, 2009, at 11 a.m. in the Glenwood Mausoleum Chapel, with the Rev. Wallace Amos officiating. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Weaver Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Wellmont Hospice House, 280 Steele's Road, Bristol, TN 37620. Online condolences may be registered at www.weaverfuneralhome.net.
