William Hall Jr., 73, of 2165 Sixth St., Bristol, TN, died Monday, April 19, 1999, at his home.
Funeral services will be conducted at 8 p.m. Tuesday in Akard Funeral Home Chapel by Dr. Kyle Barr and Dr. Bill Goforth. Graveside services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Wednesday in Glenwood Cemetery.
Mr. Hall was born in Sullivan County and was a lifelong resident there. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Koran War and was self-employed.
Surviving are his father, Emmett Hall of Bristol Tennessee; a sister, Mary Elizabeth Holden of Bristol Tennessee; and a niece. Also, Mr. Hall is survived by a brother-in-law, O.L. "John" Holden of Bristol Tennessee; a niece, Mollie Holden of Bristol Tennessee; and a special friend, Beatrice Morrell, of Bristol Virginia.
Pallbearers will be Granville Wolfe, Nathan Stover, Nat Whitlock, Rubin Clark, Walter Pope, Henry Leonard, Raymond Perry and Bob Wheelock. Honorary pallbearers will be cousins, neighbors, friends, and Dr. Jane Toothman.
