Daughter of Luther and Mary Williams Hicks. Wife of Clarence Ringley.

BLUFF CITY – Anna Mae Ringley,74, 284 Carr Hollow Road, died Tuesday, Jan. 18, 2005, at Bristol Regional Medical Center, as a result of complications from diabetes.
A native of Carter County, Tenn., she was the daughter of the late Luther
and Mary Williams Hicks. She was a homemaker and mother. Mrs. Ringley was a member of Walnut Grove Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Katherine Johnson.
Survivors include her husband, Clarence Ringley of Bluff City; one daughter and son-in-law, Jeannie and Roger Darnell, Bluff City; two sons, Clarence "Junior" Ringley and Charles Allen Ringley, both of Bluff City; three grandsons, Jason Belcher, Bristol Virginia, Jeremy Ringley, Bristol Tennessee, and Isaac Ringley, Kingsport; two sisters, Louise Spencer,Keysville, Va., and Hattie Seats, Bristol Tennessee; five brothers and sisters-in-law, Oscar and Marie Hicks, Rhode Island, Dayton and Sarah Hicks, Garden City, Mich., Jerry and Mary Hicks, Bluff City, Lee Roy and Anne Hicks, Piney Flats and Benny and Velma Hicks, Bluff City; three sisters-in-law, Blanche Cross, Kathleen Ringley and Laura Ringley; and several nieces and nephews also survive.
The funeral service will be conducted at 6 p.m., Wednesday, Jan. 19, 2005, in the Chapel of Tetrick Funeral Home, Bluff City, with Rev. Dale Ball officiating. Graveside service will be at 10 a.m., Thursday, Jan. 20, at Sunrise Cemetery. Those attending the graveside will meet at the funeral home at 9:30 a.m., Thursday to go in procession to the cemetery. Active pallbearers will be selected from family and friends. The family will receive friends from 5-6 p.m., Wednesday, Jan. 19, at Tetrick Funeral Home-Bluff City Chapel and other times at the residence of the daughter, 361 Sycamore Drive, Bluff City, Tenn.
