Rhoda Inez Smith Scoggins, age 78, of Bluff City, TN passed away on Tuesday, March 9, 2010 at her residence. She was born November 19, 1932 to the late Fleenor Smith and Mammie Glover Smith and had lived all of her life in the Chinquapin Grove community of Bluff City. She was a member of Calvary Memorial Baptist Church in the Bunker Hill Community.
Survivors: Husband: Richard F. Scoggins
Children: Christopher Estep and wife Cornelia, Becky Gregg and husband Carlos, Jeannie Sossoman and husband Bobby, Mindy Leonard and husband Jeff, William Craig Estep, David Lee Estep
Twelve Grandchildren
Eighteen Great Grandchildren
Brother: Jack Lee Smith and wife Norma
Several nieces and nephews
Funeral services will be held at 8:00 PM on Thursday, March 11, 2010 from the Weaver Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Paul Maye and Rev. Avery Lynch officiating. The family will receive friends from 6-7:45 prior to the funeral service. Burial will be at 11:00 AM on Friday, March 12, 2010 at Sunrise Cemetery.
