H.L. “Mac” McCall, age 84, of Bristol, TN, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, July 15, 2009 at his residence. He was born June 7, 1925, a son to the late William McCall and Lilly Dunn McCall. He has been a resident of Bristol since 1952. He was a retired draftsman, having worked for Raytheon, Sperry, and Unisys. He was of the Southern Baptist faith. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, having served in World War II.

Survivors include:
Children: Michael McCall and wife Cora Lee, Mitchell McCall and wife Terri, and Amy Bunn
Grandchildren: Kera Powers, Kristy Berry, and Katelyn Bunn. Sarah McCall, Steven Hannon McCall.
Two great grandchildren; Dylan and Riley
Brothers: J.W. McCall, B.F. McCall, Eugene McCall
Several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 7:00 PM on Saturday, July 18from the Weaver Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends from 5-7 PM on Saturday prior to the funeral service. An interment service will be held at Sunrise Cemetery 2:00 PM on Sunday, July 19, 2009 with Rev. Jack Stevens officiating. Graveside military honors will be provided by the Bristol V.F.W. In lieu of flowers, memorials contributions may be made to Jackie Leonard Infusion Center at Bristol Regional Medical Center. The family would like to say a special thank you to Wellmont Hospice for the service they provided.
