Billy Wayne Venable, age 74, of Bristol, TN went to be with the Lord Sunday, December 18, 2005 at Bristol Regional Medical Center.
He was born September 19, 1931 in Damascus, VA, the son of the late Stacy Clyde and Joyce Wimmer Venable.
Mr. Venable made his home in the Bristol area for the past 30 years. He was a past employee of Strong Robinette and Holston Hardware Co.
Survivors include:
Wife: Naomi C. Venable
Daughter: Teresa Powers and husband Mike
Son: Wayne Venable and wife Pam
Step-Daughters: Gayle Shull and Jimmy Dempsey, Jackie Edmonds and Jody Broyles and husband Jerry.
Grandchildren: Brandon Shull, Stacy Shull, Tabitha Edmonds, Zac Broyles and Seth Broyles
Sister: Shirley Fletcher and husband Clay
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, December 20, 2005 at 8:00 P.M. in the Weaver Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Cass Farrior and Rev. Tom Hicks officiating.
Burial will be held Wednesday, December 21, 2005 at 1:00P.M. at Sunrise Cemetery.
Honorary Pallbearers are Brandon Shull, Jimmy Dempsey, Bill Brooks, David Wilson, Tom Hicks and Rick Wilson.
