FRAZIER, EDDIE LEE "ED" PINEY FLATS -- Eddie "Ed" Lee Frazier, 78, of 403 Floyd Hollow Road died Wednesday, Feb. 20, 2002, at Johnson City Medical Center following a brief illness. He was a native of Bristol, Va., and the son of the late Chris and Cora Mitchell Frazier. He was a member of Bethel View Baptist Church. Mr. Frazier was a World War II Army veteran. He was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters.

Survivors include two daughters, Linda Hyatt of Piney Flats and Julie Perkey of Lenoir, NC; three sons, Jerry Frazier, Harlon Chirs Frazier and Donald Frazier, all of Lenoir; two sisters, Lillian Russell and Bonnie Quales, both of Bristol, Tenn.: eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services will be conducted at 8 p.m. Friday, Feb. 22, 2002, at the chapel of Tetrick Funeral Home-Bluff City. Graveside service and interment will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 23, 2002, at Sunrise Cemetery. Military honors will be conducted by Patton-Crosswhite VFW Post 6975. Everyone will meet at the cemetery at 12:50 p.m. for the graveside service. Honorary pallbearers will be Robert Hyatt Jr., Robbie Perkey, J.R. Frazier and Chris Edward Frazier.

The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. Friday, Feb. 22, 2002, from the chapel of Tetrick Funeral Home or other times at the home of a daughter, Linda Hyatt, 403 Floyd Hollow Road, Piney Flats. Tetrick Funeral Home, Bluff City Chapel is in charge of the arrangements. BRISTOL HERALD COURIER FEB. 22, 2002
