Johnny McAllister, 48, of Dayton, died on Monday, Nov. 27, 2006, at his home.
John Mark McAllister lost his battle withcancer in Dayton surrounded by love. He
was a wonderful husband, father, papaw and brother.
He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Tilda Davis; his mother, Allie
Ruth McAllister Fling; his stepdad, Bob Fling; and his father, Gene McAllister.
Survivors include his wife, Melissa McAllister of Dayton; his children, Johnny
McAllister of Soddy-Daisy, Brian McAllister of Dayton, Scott A. Lee of Texas, Angela
James Beene of Dayton; four sisters, Debbie Raby of Signal Mountain, Sharon
Walter of Florida, Ena Johnson of Soddy, Tenn., Aliza Johnson, Soddy; three aunts,
Margurite Wilson, Lois Kennedy and Barbara Davis; three grandchildren, Elex
McAllister, Dayton, Chris Everett, Chattanooga, and Shayla Headlee,
Dayton; several nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be held Wednesday at 1 p.m. in the chapel of Coulter Garrison
Funeral Home with the Rev. Clyde Fitzgerald officiating.
Interment will be in Coleman Cemetery.
