Glenn Posey, 91, died Saturday, April 3, 2004, following a long illness.
He was retired from Cumberland Case Company, where he was second-shift superintendent. He was the son of the late Calvin and Hettie Posey of Soddy-Daisy.
He was preceded in death by his wife of over 50 years, Lillian Lee Posey; siblings, Carl, Harry, Buck, Garret, Inez and Elizabeth Lewis; and his children, Glenda Nichols and Ronald Posey.
Survivors include his daughter Alice (Rudy) Hoppe of Hixson; son, John (LaRue) Posey, Zephyrhills, Fla.; sister, Lettie (McKinley) Chauncey, Soddy-Daisy ; daughter-in-law, Betty Posey, Sumter, S.C.; nine grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be conducted at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Soddy-Daisy, with Pastor Darrell Davenport officiating.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Arrangements are by the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, 5401 Highway 153.
